  the last assembly i attended was over 10 years ago.

  the monotone speakers, boring talks, uncomfortable seats, long prayers and nodding off after the lunch break did me in.

  i survived the morning sessions, but the afternoon sessions were brutal.

  last one i attended was at the old Wembley stadium London UK in about 1969. It rained the whole time. Utterly miserable pointless waste of a few days.

  my teenage fiancee / pioneer partner and i quite often indulged in soixante neuf. In Those days so long as you didnt go " all the way" it was just a matter of conscience. It was only when we were first married--on honeymoon attending a district assembly that this "toying with immorality " became a thing. Lots of red faces around.
